Project 5

For this project i started off with the Phat Bass program, and added it to the Riff machine and found a sound that i liked. I then added the Pure Bass 5 program and added that to the chop machine so that the bass blends in the background and goes well with the music. I also added a few simple kicks and claps. And added in a drum loop in the middle to build up the beat. I created an automation clip using the Phat Bass and messed around with it until I found it the way i liked it. I hope you enjoy.

Project 4 Filters

For this project i started off with chopping the slayer into a nice pattern and added an FPC called Fat Cheese 2. i layered these two patterns together with a couple kicks and snares to give it some "pop." I added the Fruity Filter to the Slayer program and i used the X-Y controller to alter the sounds of the Fat Cheese 2 so that it sounded the way i liked it. hope you enjoy.

Project 3: Automation

For this piece i used the SimSynth program as well as the boobass. I found a pattern to use that sounded like party music and mixed it with a slower tempo beat to give it a really different feel. For the slower beat i used a reggae type drum beat, with a slowed down and deeper sounding Synth. I also added in a drum loop to give it some more upbeat feel to go back to the original pattern. Hope you enjoy.

Project 2 FPC, and Chop

For this composure, i started out with the FL Slayer tool, i used this tool to give my piece a more guitar/deeper sound. To go along with the deep/low sound i added in another tool called BooBass which worked effectivly for it. I stuck with these tools because the way they fit together really gave it a sound that is a mix with rock yet it has that techno energetic feel. I chopped the Slayer and added in some rock beats with the drums. I also set the bass on the notes the slayer tool was mainly around. I enjoy guitar in music, guitar really goes well with any kind of music, and i like the upbeat feel of techno and hip hop so i combined the two to make a simple cool beat. Hope you enjoy.
